Yun Nan Flavor Snack is one of the only Chinese restaurants in the city serving Yunnan (a southwestern Chinese province) cuisine, which is characteristically spicy, herbal, and noodle-heavy. This shop looks like a total hovel from the outside, but don’t be fooled. Try the dumplings with hot and sour sauce, a red-hot, delicious mess of chili oil, pork broth, and thinly wrapped dumplings that resemble mini-brains.
